7 years as a Music Profiler and Producer
What does your job involve?
It’s my job to meet our new and potential clients and understand their music and audio content needs as a business. I use the information provided to me to devise a music profile which outlines which styles would work best for their environment and customer base to provide the perfect brand experience. I’m also an audio producer/sound designer, and play an active role in supporting our experienced production team in creating the rich and immersive sound that we pride ourselves on.
What did you do before you worked at KVH Studios?
I worked as an audio producer within commercial radio for over a decade, producing audio branding for several radio stations on a local, regional and national level
What do you love most about what you do?
Everyday is different and I love challenging myself to help deliver the most engaging and relevant services for our client
What’s your favourite memory at KVH Studios?
I’m a massive music fan, so when we get to record acoustic sessions by artists, it’s always great fun. One that stands out in particular is when ‘The Shires‘ visited our studios
How would you describe KVH Studios in 3 words?
If you could pick one, what would be your favourite music track?
Wow! This won’t be easy as there’s so many old and new tracks that move me in different ways. The one I’m going to pick is ‘As’ by Stevie Wonder
What do you like to do when you’re not at KVH Studios?
I’m a music producer in my spare time. I produce electronic music under the alias ‘Blakk Habit’ and have had my music broadcast on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and 6 Music, to mention a few. I also compose for television and film. My productions have cropped up in shows on ITV, BBC, Channel 4 and 5!
